Release notes, bug fixes, and architectural improvements across the terminal coding agent.

v0.1.1Latest Release

Released March 2026

Install Commandbun add -g yourcode

The initial public release of YourCode on the npm registry. Introduces the terminal-native React 19 autonomous coding loop, client-side tool confinement, and resolves a critical platform binary resolution issue on Apple Silicon from v0.1.0.

Bug Fixes & Stability

Apple Silicon Dynamic Library Resolution

In v0.1.0, installing globally via bun add -g yourcode failed at runtime on macOS arm64 with 'Cannot find module @opentui/core-darwin-arm64'. Version 0.1.1 properly bundles and resolves native platform dynamic library dependencies (@opentui/core-darwin-arm64, @opentui/core-darwin-x64, and @opentui/core-linux-x64), enabling out-of-the-box global execution.

Features & Improvements

  • Client-Side Tool Confinement

LLM inference runs in the cloud; all file reads, writes, atomic AST string edits (editFile), and bash commands execute strictly on your local machine confined within process.cwd().

  • OpenTUI + React 19 TUI Runtime

Sub-100ms startup and 60fps viewport rendering powered by @opentui/react and React 19, eliminating Electron and Chromium memory overhead.

  • Dual Posture Switching (PLAN / BUILD)

Toggle operational postures on the fly with <Tab> or /agents. Structural prompt schemas prevent accidental file mutations in PLAN mode.

  • Multi-Model SSE Streaming Engine

Streaming support across Google Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite (default), Claude Sonnet 4.6, and GPT-5.4 via Vercel AI SDK.

  • Clerk OAuth 2.0 PKCE Authentication

Secure browser loopback login (/login) using SHA-256 PKCE challenges without storing sensitive client secrets on disk.

  • Metered Token Economics via Polar.sh

Transparent micro-billing ($0.01 per credit) tracking actual input and output tokens per message interaction.

  • 30+ Curated Terminal Themes

Interactive theme switcher (/theme) including Nightfox, Catppuccin Mocha, Dracula, Tokyo Night, Nord, and Monokai Pro.

  • Permissive MIT License

100% Free and Open Source. Permissive MIT license allows unrestricted private, educational, and commercial usage.
